New here, glad to see Techtricksworld forum here. I was looking for this on the blog but couldn't find, and found the place to ask this quesiton. Actually, I want to make my Twitter account private. How can I do that?

Yes, we created this Forum for people like you don't find answer on our blog, but are regular readers. Coming back to your question, it is quite simple.

If you want to make your Twitter account private so that only approved followers can see your tweets, here’s how you can do it:

- Log in to your Twitter account via the app or website.
- Click on your profile picture and select “More” from the side menu
- Go to “Settings and privacy.”
- Under the “Privacy and safety” section, choose “Audience and tagging.”
- You’ll see an option called “Protect your Tweets.” Turn this on.

Once enabled, your tweets will only be visible to people who follow you, and anyone new will have to send a follow request that you can approve or deny.

Hi Max,

In privacy settings, you can find "Protect your Tweet" option, once you enable this your account will be private. I did this for my account, so I could tell you.

Hope you get this done easily.
